Isaac Olanrewaju
Backend engineer.
Hi, I’m Isaac. Welcome to my corner of the internet.
I’m a backend engineer in Lagos, Nigeria.
I build payment systems and transaction-heavy backend services for fintechs, banks, and product teams. My work sits around APIs, third-party integrations, ledgers, real-time workflows, and systems that move real money at scale.
I’ve led engineering teams, worked across financial technology products, published technical work, and I’m increasingly interested in how artificial intelligence will change software engineering and financial infrastructure.
Outside work, I make videos about tech and finance. I’m married to Dr Dami, I’m a dad, and I mostly work from my home office in Lagos.
